About Us - Personal:

A little bit about my home life and family...I am happily married to my wife Linda of over 31 years! We have two wonderful sons who have recently completed their college years, both graduating with engineering degrees. We expect them to suddenly accumulate infinitely more knowledge than us any day now, but so far, they have continued to demonstrate a closeness and dedication to family, academics, and career paths that makes us proud. I enjoy working from home, seeing my sons embark on their engineering careers, and spending time with family whenever I can.

For almost five years, My wife Linda's 86-year old parents lived with us in our home. We enjoyed dinner together most evenings, and are proud to have had many meals together with all three generations around the dinner table. Linda's Dad and I always had a great father-son relationship which I hope that I can match with my own sons some day in my own elderly years.

We enjoy family activities including skiing, skating on our neighbor's ice rink, and traveling to a warm climate when we can. We love camping, hiking, and going to beaches and lakes in the summer. We try to vacation in the lakes region of New Hampshire one week of the summer, and spend a long weekend at the Cape, and in Maine every year. We enjoy kayaking on lakes and rivers, and just hanging around the back yard swimming pool entertaining with neighborhood friends and families. Evening Red Sox or Patriots games on a projector screen in our back yard by the campfire proves to be a fun neighborhood attraction.

Personally, I enjoyed playing the outfield in the Merrimack Mens softball league for many years, riding my fat tire mountain bike on local trails, and going to concerts and sporting events like the Lowell Spinners, NH Fishercats, Red Sox, Manchester Monarchs, and Patriots games! Although I haven't brewed my own beer since before my first son was born in 2000, I do enjoy tasting microbrews when I can with good friends from my neighborhood, or from my youth back in Manchester.

Although my sons are long past playing organized baseball, I still have fond memories of coaching their baseball teams for five years straight, starting with T-ball at 5 years old. They, and I, made many good friends whom we still see on a weekly basis.

Both of our sons have done well in college, majoring in the engineering fields. My youngest son Jason recently graduated UNH with a mechanical engineering degree, while my oldest, Jordan, graduated from URI as a civil engineer. Jordan worked at Provencher Engineering over college breaks, and is now employed as a civil engineer with a well-respected firm in New Hampshire.

Life at the Provenchers is pretty good these days!
