Provencher Engineering was contracted by Verc Enterprises of Duxbury, Massachusetts, to establish a new public water supply and a new wastewater treatment and effluent disposal system for an existing Dunkin Donuts, gasoline station, and convenience store. We conducted a witnessed Title 5 soil evaluation with the Nashoba Board of Health, and presented our project design to the Boxborough Board of Health for approval.  

This project required design of a new Bioclere wastewater treatment unit and new pressure dosed irregularly-shaped effluent pressure distribution leaching system as a result of an undersized previous system which failed in only 4 years. We added a mulit-compartmental tank (detention, anoxic, and pump chamber), and eliminated a 1,000 gallon septic tank and a 2,500 gallon holding tank. The new wastewater and water supply systems are currently complete and have been in operation since spring 2007.
